Summits, from right to left, Mt. Whitney (14,494 ft.), Keeler Needle (14,240 ft.), Day Needle (14,080 ft.), and Third Needle (14,080 ft.). Pinnacle Ridge abuts the crest at Third Needle.

The couloir of the Mountaineer's Route is very prominent on Mt. Whitney.
