ROCK UPON ROCK, SNOW UPON SNOW
Yosemite National Park, Horse Creek Pass

Notes

Ken Horwitz on Horse Creek Pass (~10,700 ft.), just east of Matterhorn Peak in the Sierra's Sawtooth Ridge region, in April 1973. Horse Creek Pass is on the northern boundary of Yosemite National Park. The view is looking south, down Spiller Canyon. We skied down the U-shaped canyon and camped in the trees. The pyramidal peak on the left is Stanton Peak.
