Although an "ender" is not the rodeo move it used to be, they are still fun to do, especially if you are paddling a longer, higher volume boat. In this 1994(?) shot, Gary Gunder gets vertical at an ender spot on the Chili Bar run of the S.F. American River (CA). The flow was about 1300 cfs. The "Bed and Breakfast spot" was modified by the1997 New Year's flood and at certain flows is now a good cartwheel playspot.
