Put-in:

Below Big Tujunga Dam at the bridge on Big Tujunga Canyon Road via a dirt road on the west side of the bridge (2000')

Gradients:

Average: 67 fpm

Take-out:

Wildwood Picnic Area (1760')

NOTES

Since the flow on this reach is dam controlled and often quite low, thickets of brush and bamboo can be a problem. The hazard from them increases dramatically with the flow. Topi and Ryan did Tujunga from Vogel Flats picnic area to Delta Flats picnic area on the previous day.
